Our Team

Dr. Mai Nguyen is the owner of Inland Optometric Associates and a California board-licensed Doctor of Optometry who graduated with honors from Western University of Health Sciences. 
Before landing a career in optometry, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley. After a short foray into the theatrical and performing arts world, she became interested in the ocular sciences after accidentally taking an Intro to Optometry course—and she’s never looked back. 

She is passionate and committed to providing compassionate, personalized care to patients from all populations and backgrounds. Her expertise includes thorough, comprehensive eye exams, fitting specialty contacts for patients with corneal diseases or high prescriptions, managing myopic progression, consulting and providing care for refractive and cataract surgery patients, and managing and treating ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eyes, and much more. 

Outside of clinic hours, Dr. Mai volunteers her time and provides free eye exams to underserved patients at local programs and community events. She believes in giving back to the community she has called home since 2000, when they moved to the Inland Empire. Besides her role of being an optometrist, she loves being “faunties” to her two adorable nieces. She also enjoys spending her free time with family, exploring food places, cooking with friends, and traveling the world.

Dr. Jacqueline Truong received her Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree at the University of California, Irvine and her Doctor of Optometry degree at The New England College of Optometry. She completed her externships at the Veterans Affair Hospital in Oregon, Patuxent Naval Air Medical Center, and Brooke Army Medical Center.

She has been providing quality vision care in the Inland Empire for over 10 years. Licensed and trained in the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents, Dr. Truong is certified by the National Board of Optometry in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease, and certified by the State Board of Optometry in the Treatment and Management of Glaucoma. She is also skilled in complicated contact lens fitting.

Dr. Truong is dedicated to providing professional and exceptional eye care to every patient. She also firmly believes in perpetually expanding her knowledge base and staying current with the best eye care available.

In her spare time, Dr. Truong enjoys aerobic exercises and spending quality time with her husband and two boys.
